Nonyl isovalerate, chemical formula C15H30O2, is an ester compound.

Nature:
1. Appearance: colorless liquid.
2. Solubility: soluble in common organic solvents, such as ethanol, ether and hydrocarbons.
3. Density: about 0.85 g/cm.
4. Melting Point: About -45 ° C.

Use:
1. Isovaleric acid nonyl ester can be used as a solvent, in ink, paint and glue with good solubility and volatility.
2. It is also widely used in cosmetics and personal care products, including perfumes, fragrances and shampoos.
3. Nonyl isovalerate can also be used as a precursor for synthetic flavors and food additives.

Preparation Method:
